Logitech Announces New Wireless Speakers UE Boom

Wireless Bluetooth speakers are nothing new. Go to the market and you will find a large variety of them dotting the shelves. Logitech has also entered their own competitor in the field in the shape of the new UE Boom. To give it an edge against the rest, Logitech has fitted the speakers with a few features.

The Logitech UE Boom has been wrapped up in a special water and resistant acoustic plasma skin. Coupled with its relatively small stature and cylindrical design, the UE Boom is quite suited to being carried around. Additionally, the Logitech speaker also has an iOS and Android app which allows you to pair multiple UE Booms (maximum eight) together for greater sound output.

Individual UE Boom speakers have a maximum sound level of 88 dB and a frequency response range of 90 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Sound is delivered by two full range 1.5-inch drivers. The product also has a rechargeable battery and a specified battery life of 15 hours. The Logitech UE Boom will be available in Blue, Red, Black and White for a price of S$299 in early June.
