LG's new X Power 2 smartphone has a massive 4,500mAh battery

LG can't quite wait for MWC to kick off, as it has announced a new entry/mid-range phone, the X Power2, just days before MWC starts. The 5.5-inch phone has entry/mid-range level specs with an HD 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution display (267ppi) and an unspecified 1.5GHz octa-core processor, paired with 1.5 or 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The main selling point of the phone is its huge 4,500mAh battery, which, coupled with its HD display is said to provide up to 15 hours of straight video or 18 hours of straight internet browsing. The phone also supports fast charging and according to LG can be fully charged in just two hours.

The phone will be available in Black Titan, Shiny Gold, Shiny Blue and Shiny Titan (silver) colors. Pricing is unknown at this time.
