LG has dropped another teaser for its upcoming G6 flagship smartphone.

In a news release, LG states that a new mobile UX 6.0 will be featured on the G6. The interface is specifically designed to take advantage of the 5.7-inch QHD+ FullVision display which has an aspect ratio of 18:9. Some of the new features include:

  • a differentiated experience for viewing content where there are expanded top and bottom sections to see more information
  • an improved camera UX where users can take and review photos simultaneously by dividing the display into two identical squares
  • a smartly designed graphical user interface which opens two perfectly square windows side by side for a better multitasking experience.

The G6 will also sport a 32-bit quad-DAC system which delivers a clearer, more balanced sound. LG will be announcing the G6 on 26 February before Mobile World Congress 2017 kicks off. If you're interested to find out more about the G6, do read our round-up article here.
