LG shows off 65-inch rollable 4K OLED display at CES 2018

CES has always been a show where makers show off their design and/or manufacturing prowess. In addition to an 88-inch 8K OLED panel, LG Display is also trotting a 65-inch 4K OLED display that rolls up like a piece of paper.

It goes without saying that the biggest benefit of this design is that you can roll up the TV and hide it when you aren't using it. Resembling somewhat like a portable projector screen, this rollable display is able to roll itself up into this blocky base (see image below).

Again, developed doesn't always mean it’s ready for the market. But hey, at least you now know this is actually doable.
