LG’s new PW700 Bluetooth MiniBeam projector to debut at IFA 2014

The LG PW700 WXGA compact projector has 700 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 100,000:1 contrast ratio.

LG Electronics has announced that it’s bringing its PW700 Bluetooth MiniBeam LED projector to European markets next month.

Billed as a highly portable entertainment solution, the PW700 measures a compact 172 x 117mm, and weighs 580g. As a projector, it sports 700 ANSI lumens of brightness, 100,000:1 contrast ratio, and a 1280 x 800 resolution. It’s also decked with screen sharing options, including WiDi, Miracast, and HDMI, so getting to content stored on laptops and mobile devices should be an easy affair. Audio-wise, the Bluetooth-capable beamer is able to stream high quality sound wirelessly to any compatible audio system.

The LG PW700 will be available in key European markets starting in September, followed by countries in Asia and the Middle East in October. If you’re heading to IFA 2014 next month in Germany, the LG Bluetooth MiniBeam will also be on display in Hall 11.2 of Messe Berlin.
