LG-P700, LG-P880 Surface Online Before MWC 2012
Model numbers of two future LG handsets, the LG-P700 and the LG-P880, have made an appearance on the online forum UPnP. While information about these Android-based devices are vague at the moment (just like any other leaks), several online reports provide us with a few morsels of details to digest.
Starting off with the LG-P700, the handset is anticipated to come with a display with 640 x 480 resolution and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Meanwhile, the LG-P880 is a high-end device that will feature a 4.7-inch 720p HD display with 16GB internal memory and an 8-megapixel camera.
Given the said specs, the LG-880 can go neck and neck with the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Apple iPhone 4S. Speculations say that the LG-880 might actually be the Tegra 3-powered LG X3. Both the LG-P700 and the LG-880 will run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
We might see more details about these LG devices as MWC 2012 approaches.
