LG G5 to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and 20MP Sony image sensor?
The LG G4 is considered one of the best Android smartphones this year with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and a 16-megapixel, f/1.8 rear camera. Its successor, the G5 is set to continue this winning formula.
According to GforGames, LG will be using Qualcomm's next generation Snapdragon 820 chipset. Besides delivering faster and more reliable LTE speeds, the Snapdragon 820 uses a Zeroth neural chip to combat malware and supports Sense ID (3D fingerprint scanner) technology.
The G5 reportedly will have a 20-megapixel camera with a custom 1/2-inch Sony imaging sensor and you can expect the standard suite of features such as laser autofocus and optical image stabilization. Its source claims that the G5 will arrive in the first half of 2016.
