LG is finally bringing the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition to Singapore

LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition.

Remember how LG cancelled the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition indefinitely? The smartwatch is now back and it’s actually going on sale tomorrow (16th April 2016). It will retail at S$588 at selected authorized LG retailers.

The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition has a diameter of 44.5mm, and it comes with a 1.38-inch Full Circle Plastic OLED display (at 480 x 480 pixels resolution, 348 ppi). It has a battery capacity of 570mAh and Power Saving Mode to help extend its battery life – the predecessor only had 410mAh to spare.

It was also one of the first Android Wear smartwatches to come equipped with cellular connectivity support – the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition supports LTE and 3G networks, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi. The cellular effectiveness and compatibility will vary between Android and iOS devices.

The smartwatch runs on a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC. Despite its high-tech interior, it also adopts a classic timepiece design with its hairline-etched stainless steel body. It is also IP67 certified, so it can be waterproof up to 1 meter depth for 30 minutes.
