After telling us its OLED TV plans for CES 2014, LG is now telling us its LCD TV plans for the trade show.

We already knew about the 5,120 x 2,160-pixel 105UC9, an ultra-wide and curved ultra-HD LCD TV that’ll go head to head with a similar offering from Samsung. Today, we learned that this ‘5K’ display has a front-facing 7.2-channel sound system designed in collaboration with Harman Kardon.

Accompanying this 105-inch behemoth are flat 4K LCD TVs from LG’s UB9800 series, and they come in 65, 79, 84, and 98-inch screen sizes, each with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160. Like its 77-inch curved 4K OLED TV cousin, the UB9800 gets a new processor to support LG’s latest Tru-Ultra HD Engine Pro, a 4K upscaler, a 4K motion blur-reducing tech called Motion Estimation Motion Compensation, H.264 and HEVC H.265 support (including the ability to do 4K decoding from most input sources, such as HDMI 2.0, USB, and LAN), and of course, passive 3D tech.
