LG Announces Red and Gold G2 for the Lunar New Year

LG Electronics today announced the availability of two new colors for the G2 - red and gold. 

According to LG, these two limited edition color variants come with a unique textured back coating that gives you a better grip. It is priced at $898 and will be available from January 18 at all three telcos.

As a quick recap, the LG G2 sports a 5.2-inch Full-HD display and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.26GHz processor and 2GB RAM.

One of its unique physical traits are the rear power and volume control buttons. Its 13-megapixel rear camera also comes with optical image stabilization, which is absent in most Android flagship smartphones except the HTC One. To find out more about the LG G2, do check out our review
