Lenovo Unveils the Latest Power-Packed Trio for Business Professionals

SINGAPORE - Lenovo announced three new desktop PCs – the first Edge-branded ThinkCentre Edge 91z AIO designed for small-to-medium businesses (SMBs), education customers and power professionals looking for style and high performance with the convenience of a small footprint; and the ThinkCentre M71z All-in-One (AIO) and ThinkCentre M77 desktop for large businesses, schools and governments.

ThinkCentre Edge 91z - Super-Thin AIO Dressed to Impress

As the first AIO desktop in the ThinkCentre Edge family and one of the industry’s most powerful AIOs, the ThinkCentre Edge 91z AIO is an ideal office or home tool for small-to-medium businesses looking for style and high performance with the convenience of a small form footprint. The AIO sports a 21.5-inch glossy high definition screen for crystal clear images. While the screen makes a large visual impact, its industry-leading thin frame helps it fit into even the tightest of work spaces. A convenient optional wireless keyboard with comfortable island-style keyboard tucks neatly under the AIO to complement its minimalist look. This compact design helps save up to 70 percent of space versus a traditional tower desktop and LCD monitor.

The ThinkCentre Edge 91z AIO provides a first-class multimedia experience too. With support for HDMI and an optional Blu-ray DVD drive, high definition videos appear seamless and strikingly clear.

Users can also stream video on the AIO’s big screen using its WiFi capabilities and video chat via the web camera. Armed with up to Intel i7 Quad Core processors, 8 GB of DDR3 memory, 80 GB solid state drive storage or 1 TB hard drive and optional 1 GB of ATI discrete graphics, the AIO pushes the envelope as one of the industry’s most powerful AIOs.

ThinkCentre M71z - Unlimited Performance All-in-One

While giving large enterprises the highest levels of desktop performance, the ThinkCentre M71z comes in a space saving, portable and stylish design. Its 20-inch display is an ideal screen size for doing work with the added convenience and cost savings of a two-in-one device compared with desktops and monitor solutions sold separately. Additionally, the desktop’s optional touchscreen makes collaboration with colleagues or clients more natural. The AIO includes a number of extra productivity and security features, such as a DVD burner, optional WiFi, six USB ports, chassis intrusion switch and DisplayPort for viewing digital video on a second monitor. It also includes choices of powerful second generation Intel Core processors, rapid DDR3 memory, up to 1 TB hard drive storage or a ultrafast 160 GB SSD.

Since more voice and video calls have moved online, the ThinkCentre M71z offers an optional 2.0 megapixel camera for clear visuals and a digital array microphone for crisp voice clarity. Users can quickly change camera and microphone settings on the fly during a call in the ThinkVantage Communications Utility. Finally, the ThinkCentre M71z AIO gives users flexibility in how they like to work with their PC by allowing universal Vesa wall, desk arm mounting or an optional height adjustable stand.

ThinkCentre M77 - Multi-tasking Desktop for Business Professionals

Available in either tower or small form factor, the ThinkCentre M77 desktop offers choices of AMD Sempron, Athlon II, Phenom II and FX Series processors. To keep multi-taskers happy, it comes equipped with SATA III, which speeds up hard drive data transfer twice that of SATA II. The desktops’ optional AMD Radeon discrete graphics bring visuals to life, and via ATI Surround View, the ThinkCentre M77 desktop can support up to four displays, including its primary monitor. Additionally, it includes DisplayPort for exporting high definition video content to view on another device, while retaining VGA output for standard video. The desktop also comes fully loaded with features like such as, up to 16 GB high speed DDR3 memory, up to 1 TB hard drive storage, and up to 8 USB ports, DVD player.

To allay concerns about data loss, the desktop comes with Dash 1.1 manageability, USB port disablement and well as TPM 1.2 encryption. The ThinkCentre M77 desktop continues Lenovo’s focus on designing more environmentally-responsible products.

Gold Standard for Green

The ThinkCentre M71z and M77 desktops incorporate several significant environmental attributes. Both desktops meet the new Energy Star 5.2 standard for energy efficiency while being EPEAT Gold rated. The ThinkCentre M71z is also TCO Certified Edge for their strong environmental and usability features while the ThinkCentre M77 is GREENGUARD certified to meet its standard for air quality.

Faster Start Up, Shut Down With Enhanced Experience 2.0

Each desktop includes Lenovo’s Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7, which allows boot-up to be 30 percent faster than non-optimized models. Both the ThinkCentre Edge M71z and Edge 91z can start up in as little as 15 seconds on select models with an optional solid state drive (SSD). Customers can identify Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 PCs through a special Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7 certification sticker affixed to them.
