Being held at Funan DigitalLife Mall, NVIDIA is partnering up with ASUS, Acer, MSI and Lenovo to bring you an entire range of notebooks equipped with GeForce GPUs. The usual suspects in the shape of the Acer Aspire M5 and V5, the ASUS G75V and the MSI GE60 are being sold at attractive prices.
But the real star of the show is the Lenovo IdeaPad Y500. Released just a month ago, the notebook runs on a third generation Intel Core i7 processor and comes fitted with a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT650. But those who want higher performance can switch out the optical drive bay and slot in another GT650 GPU. This particular feature should allow the Y500 to serve double duty as a regular work / multi-media notebook while also being able to be converted into a serious gaming rig.
The Lenovo Y500 is being sold for a price of S$1999. NVIDIA is also including a code for a free Pandaren Monk Pet for your World of Warcraft character with the purchase of any notebook at the event, which will be on-going over the weekend.
