Lenovo Delivers Performance and Portability with New Additions to the Multimode Family

Lenovo has announced the availability of its latest range of PC Plus devices - the Lenovo 11-inch Miix 2 , Flex 2, along with its new Y, G, and Z series machines.

Lenovo Miix 2

With its detachable design, this multimode gives you the option of switching from the tablet mode when you're on the go, and then connecting back to the base for a full Windows 8.1 laptop experience when you require it. In Laptop Mode, users can enjoy a great combination of screen real estate with a full-size keyboard. For entertainment or recreation, they can turn the tablet 180° and insert it into the keyboard base to engage its third mode, Stand Mode, to watch movies or view recipes while cooking.

Powered by a 4th gen Intel Core i5 processor, greater storage with up to 128GB of SSD storage and a Full HD IPS wide-view display, it comes fully equipped with Windows 8.1 with 10-finger touch support, Wi-Fi, and optional 3G, JBL speakers, high resolution front and rear cameras, and up to six hours of battery life.

Flex 2

14-inch variant.

Available with a 14- or 15.6-inch screen, its traditional clamshell laptop mode lets you carry out productivity tasks with its comfortable keyboard featuring a functional one-piece multitouch touchpad and an optional cool metal palmrest. To switch to Stand Mode, simply flip the keyboard 300° under the screen for a different way to watch movies or scroll online recipes. Equipped with NVIDIA GeForce graphics, the Flex 2 has up to 4th gen Intel Core i7 processors, 1TB HDD, and Full HD widescreen display on selected models.

Y, G and Z Series

Y40.

The Y series offers a full multimedia experience with the latest graphics options and rich audio, while the G series packs features in an 11-inch slim design. Ideal for the fashion-conscious, the Z series comes with VeriFace facial recognition and motion/voice control.

The new Y40 and Y50 laptops feature up to 4th gen Intel Core i7 processors, NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards (only available for Y50), JBL speakers, Dolby Home Theater v4, and run on the Windows 8.1 platform. Less than 1-inch slim, the G40 and G50 (14-inch and 15.5-inch) laptops enables Dolby-enhanced entertainment with up to four hours of battery life. Finally, the 14-inch Z40 and 15.6-inch Z50 laptops comes with an optional Full HD screen, a 4th gen Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce graphics, Windows 8.1 and Dolby Home Theatre v4.
