Lenovo Announces Three More Devices to Connect and Share Content at CES 2014

LenovoEMC has announced at CES 2014 a portfolio of devices geared toward the home to allow users to enjoy, connect and interact with their media and content. These devices include the Beacon personal cloud storage device, the N308 Android home computer, and the A740 AIO PC.

Beacon

Allowing users to store and share multimedia using their smartphone, PC, tablet, or TV, the Beacon offers storage capacity expandable up to 6TB. It lets users upload files either wirelessly or via an onboard USB connection with just the press of one button. Users can access files around the home or on-the-go, and the secure access rights make it a fitted device to share with multiple users.

With the camera auto upload feature, shutterbugs can upload a photo from their smartphone's camera via Wi-Fi or 3G to store a copy of it. Using Lenovo's custom app, users can even use their Android smartphone as a remote control to play their multimedia stored on Beacon to a TV connected by HDMI.

The Beacon powers on an Intel Atom dual-core processor, and comes in White or Black.

N308

The company's first Android desktop, the 19.5-inch N308 runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, and includes the NVIDIA Tegra quad-core processor, up to 500GB HDD storage, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi. Users can adjust the stand to lay the device flat for an easier angle to navigate the touchscreen or play games. Simply use it as an AIO in your home or office, or as a super-sized tablet with its full-size keyboard and mouse. Delivering up to three hours of battery life with its integrated battery, it comes in White or Black.

A740

With a 4mm-thin display, the 27-inch AIO lets users interact with their content on the Windows 8.1 10-finger touchscreen, or with its built-in motion and voice control. It folds down 90-degrees flat, and comes with NVIDIA GeForce graphics, JBL speakers, and Dolby Home Theater. Other features include up to 1TB of HDD storage, NFC, ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HDMI-in support.
