Lenovo Adds IdeaPad U and Z Series to its Lineup of Windows 8 Touch-Optimized Devices at CES 2013
On top of the ThinkVision LT1423p Mobile Monitor Touch which Lenovo has announced, the company also introduced ultra-portable IdeaPad U Series Ultrabooks and the multimedia intensive IdeaPad Z Series laptops.
At just a mere 18mm thin, Lenovo's signature IdeaPad U310 and U410 mainstream Ultrabook devices come with new 10-finger touch support. Besides being capable of waking up from sleep in just one second with Instant Resume, they power on a Intel Ivy Bridge i7 processor, the latest NVIDIA GeForce graphics with DX11 and an extended battery life for all day computing.
Optimized for the Windows 8 touch-based user interface, the IdeaPad Z400 and Z500 laptops support 10-point touch, and feature specialized stereo speakers for extra bass with Dolby Home Theatre v4 for an immersive sound experience. Equipped with Intel Ivy Bridge standard voltage i7 processors with the latest NVIDIA GeForce graphics technology, these laptops give consumers large 14-15.6-inch touch screen real estate. Also, the backlit AccuType keyboard lets users comfortably see what they’re typing when they’re in the dark.

The IdeaPad U310 Touch will be available from March from a starting price of US$779.
The IdeaPad U410 Touch will be available from April from a starting price of US$850.
The IdeaPad Z400 Touch will be available from March from a starting price of US$699.
The IdeaPad Z500 Touch will be available from April from a starting price of US$699.
*Update: The Lenovo IdeaPad Z400 is currently retailing in Singapore while the IdeaPad Z500 will be available from end March 2013, with prices starting from S$999 and S$1,299 respectively.
