Klipsch releases its 2nd generation Reference in-ear headphones – the R6 (II) and the R6i (II)

It’s been a good three years since the launch of the R6 and R6i Reference in-ear headphones, but they’ve just been updated with a fresher look and classic round cables for better handling. Klipsch has left the 6.5mm dual magnet micro-speakers in place so you will continue to enjoy their signature sound over a range of devices.

Also unchanged, are the patented oval ear tips that fit better to your ear canal for superior noise isolation and deeper bass. These are again a Klipsch signature and allow for hours of comfortable wear. Of course, the R6i (II) again comes with the in-line remote that’s certified for music and calls on iOS devices.

Both headphones come with a carrying case and four sets of oval tips of different sizes so you can find the best fit. There's little else shared in terms of technical changes, so we'll assume you'll get the same sound from the updated models while the old models get phased out, as they're slightly cheaper this time round. (The original versions had RRP of S$129 and S$169 respectively)

The R6 (II) and the R6i (II) are available now at all major Klipsch retailers for S$109 and S$149 respectively.
