Jabra has introduced Jabra Classic, a Bluetooth headset with battery life of up to 9 hours of talk time and 9 days of standby time. A compact Bluetooth headset that weighs only 10g, the Classic comes with built-in voice guidance that gives users step-by-step tips on how to pair it to the phone, as well as connection and battery status.
Featuring A2DP profile for audio streaming over Bluetooth, the Classic also sports a useful Power Nap battery saving mode that kicks in automatically when the headset is disconnected from the phone (to wake it, simply press the answer/end button again). The speaker also supports wideband/HD Voice frequency response to enable realistic human voice reproduction on optimized digital lines. For those worried that they would misplace their headset, help comes in the form of a Jabra Assist App, which geotags the headset when it’s not in use. Users can then track down the Jabra Classic via the map application that shows up on the smartphone.
Also announced is the new Jabra Mini. Like the Classic (but a shade slimmer), it offers an extended battery life of up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 9 days standby time, voice guidance, HD Voice capability, and the Power Nap mode.
The Jabra Classic and Jabra Mini are each priced at S$78. Available in red, white, and black colors, the former can be found at Best Denki, Challenger, Gain City, Harvey Norman, and other authorized Jabra resellers. The latter is available in black, and is sold at retail stores of mobile telco operators.
