Are you enrolled in the Windows Insider Program, and are rocking the Windows 10 Technical Preview? If so, are you dreading the day when the new OS hits RTM (yes, it’s at least six months away; maybe even longer), because that usually means a fresh install?

Well, maybe there isn’t a need for such a drastic move. As reported by WinBeta, according to Microsoft’s Gabriel Aul’s reply on Twitter (he works on the Windows Insider Program, by the way), it’s the company’s ‘intent’ to let participants using the preview to upgrade to the final bits of Windows 10 when it’s released. Of course, we’re still quite some time away from late summer and early fall of next year, so anything can change. But let us keep our fingers crossed.
