Singapore – Teachers and tutors have long identified the limited speaking opportunities in class as their biggest challenge, especially for difficult languages like Mandarin; and conventional Mandarin training approaches typically lack systematic quality control. iQ-Hub differs from other Internet-based language courses in that it addresses these issues using built-in analytics, reporting, tone analysis and feedback, speech interactivity and now, mobility. iQ-Hub has developed its mobile training service based on years of research and advances in its proprietary speech technology.
To ensure their relevance for Singapore parents, all iQ-Hub lesson packages align directly with Singapore Ministry of Education instruction standards. iQ-Hub lessons cover all required vocabulary and grammar structures, in addition to adding useful and engaging content of its own.
Making Classroom Instruction Better
iQ-Hub’s unique system supplements what teachers do in the classroom by recording every student interaction and storing these results so instructors can more easily analyze them, which lets them reinforce good habits and catch bad ones much faster and more effectively. To match this level of in-class interaction would require over five times more hours of in-class time.
As part of the iQ-Hub pedagogy, the system offers an incredible breadth in terms of number of exercises and exercise types. While other systems use only one type of exercise (text multiple choice, for example) iQ-Hub includes a range of pictures, text and audio-based, and speech interactive lessons, all integrating our specialized speech technologies. iQ-Hub has found that giving different types of interaction with the same content set improves retention and fluency.
