iPhone 3G Now Running Android 2.2

We're not too sure if this is a good thing, or a bad thing for the closed Apple iPhone, but users who want to try something different can install Android 2.2 (also known as Froyo) on the iPhone 3G. While WiFi and audio isn't quite working, everything else works fine. While the iPhone OS could use some tweaking, the next version, 4.0, looks very much improved. We can't help but wonder though, just how awesome an iPhone sporting Android would be.

gadgetsdna.com - Android 2.2 OS has been ported to iPhone 3G successfully. The development team which is working on this project has already achieved excellent results and is able to run android 2.2 froyo with the ability to call and send SMS. Android 2.2 seems to work fine except for Wi-Fi and audio.
