iMessage App Store gets populated with sticker packs and apps ahead of iOS 10 launch

iOS 10 will be made available for iPhone users all over the world tomorrow. And ahead of iOS 10's worldwide launch, Apple has began populated the new iMessage App Store with lots of new sticker packs and apps.

Stickers are a big part of the revamped iMessage app and it will allow users to express themselves in different ways. Some sticker packs that are available at the time of writing includes Cookie Monster, Star Wars, Angry Birds and Disney: Mickey & Friends.

Predictably, not all of these sticker packs are free. For example, the Star Wars and Disney: Mickey & Friends sticker packs are S$2.98 each.

Apps are another big part of the updated iMessage app, and for iOS 10, some apps will be able to run natively within iMessages itself.

Polls with Friends is one of these apps and it allows users to create quick polls within chats. This can be useful in group chat situations when trying to decide where to go or what to eat.

Like the sticker packs, not all apps will be free.

iOS 10 will be available as a free update for iOS device users with eligible devices beginning tomorrow. To find out what else you can expect to experience with the new iOS 10 update, we've got the details from Apple's WWDC event earlier this year.
