Sony (yes, not Sony Ericsson) will be making a full scale attack on the smartphone front in the months to come. Right after the official unveiling of its first Android smartphone, the Sony Xperia S, we are now looking at leaked images of two Xperia phones.

Like most leaked images, we can't really get a clear look from the blurry shots. But what is noticeable are two devices that don't look too familiar amongst the Xperia family. The bottom right device, which is seemingly larger than most of the other Xperia smartphones, is likely to be the Xperia Nypon. According to GSM Arena, we are looking at a device with a 4-inch qHD Reality display and an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording.

The second arrow on top points towards another rumored Xperia smartphone, codenamed Kumquat (kind of apt, with the Chinese New Year coming real soon). Its specs will border on the modest range, with a 3.5-inch FWVGA Reality display with a 5-megapixel camera capable of 720p video recording.

Unlike the Xperia S, both devices will reportedly utilize ST-Ericsson's NovaThor dual-core processors. With less devices running on Qualcomm's chipset, we should be expecting some interesting results from different handsets in the months to come. More info about these two leaked Xperia devices should be available as we move nearer to the end of February, when Mobile World Congress 2012 will be happening at Barcelona once again.
