*Update: Polish site Tabletowo obtained an alleged screenshot of the TF300T's specs sheet. ASUS is expected to unveil the new tablet at Mobile World Congress 2012.
Taiwanese site NCCC obtained an image of an unknown ASUS Eee Pad tablet, which could be a follow up to the Eee Pad Transformer Prime.
According to Slash Gear, the device appears to have a 10.1-inch display and sports a plastic back that is similar to the first Transformer tablet. Codenamed TF300T, the higher numerical value when compared to the Transformer Prime (TF201) and Transformer (TF101) hinted that this device may come with more powerful specifications.
2012 seems to be an exciting year for ASUS as it continues to introduce innovative and impressive devices. It had an early head start last December with the Eee Pad Transformer Prime, which is the world's first quad core Android 4.0 tablet. ASUS achieved another milestone during CES 2012 when it announced the first 7-inch Android 4.0 tablet.
Its highly anticipated tablet/smartphone hybrid, the PadFone will be officially launched at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012. It is also said to be powered by Tegra 3 quad-core processor alongside Android 4.0. Hence, don't be surprised if the TF300T turns out to be another hit among consumers.
