If you have trouble using regular mice, you might be interested in the HE mouse

The HE mouse might look weird and uncomfortable but give it a chance, it might surprise you.

Vertical mice are nowhere near as mainstream as their regular brethren. Compared to the common mice, they're a bit more pricey and not many people think the extra price is worth it when normal mice do their job just as well.

If you're suffering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or repetitive stress injuries though, a vertical mouse might be just what you need to alleviate that pain in your wrist.

The HE Mouse is the latest mouse in the vertical mouse category. While we're not sure what the HE stands for (we sure hope it's not Highly Explosive), the mouse functions pretty much like a standard more in every aspect except for its button placements. Instead of your palm facing downwards like on a regular mouse, vertical mice have your hands sidesways, like you're holding a bottle or joystick.

The mouse has three adjustable DPI settings; 800, 1000 and 1600. While the settings are set and aren't customizable, chances are anybody can find a setting they're comfortably with. The HE Mouse is wireless with Li-ion rechargeable batteries inside. It comes with a wireless receiver and USB charging cable so you don't need to get anything extra to get started. Recharging it is simply a matter of connecting the charging cable to it and finding a free USB port. Since it recharges via USB, we guess that technically makes it a wired mouse too.

While it may look huge, the HE mouse is only 83 x 106 x 75 millimeters. It's Windows and Mac compatible so most computers should have no problems recognizing it. It's on sale for $119 now on Ergoworks' website, with a MSRP of $139.
