Huawei's MWC 2013 Invites Hint at Multiple Devices
With CES over and done with, Huawei has now been focusing its efforts on the upcoming Mobile World Congress event. The company made some major announcements at CES with regards to their upcoming mobile lineup, showing up the 5.0-inch Ascend D2, a 6.1-inch Ascend Mate and the Windows Phone 8 Ascend W1. If you think that's one too many, well, we will be expecting more at MWC, as their press invites so evidently hint at.
Their MWC invitation says they will unveil “new products, performance goals and possibilities for the year ahead.” This is in line with what we have previously reported - Huawei has mentioned that it has plans to unveil new products, including a custom designed 8-core processor and an ultra sleek P series smartphone. To add on, there have been a number of rumors concerning a higher-end Windows Phone 8 model. Looks like that might not be all of course; given its strong start at CES, there might be other new mobile devices showing up at the annual mobile-centric conference in Barcelona.
