Huawei Nexus 6P users complain about microphone issues, Google is investigating

The Huawei Nexus 6P is shaping up to be one of the most problematic Nexus phones in recent memory.

The best Nexus smartphone to date is plagued with another hardware problem - muffled call quality from the microphone.

According to feedback posted in several forums such as Google, XDA, Reddit and HardwareZone, Nexus 6P users are unable to hear the other party on the call (voice call and VoIP) clearly. Some users speculate that the noise cancellation feature of the Nexus 6P is the cause of the problem. Google states that the product team is investigating and will update the forum thread as and when new information is available.

Earlier this month, there were reports of the rear glass panel cracking randomly for some users. The Nexus 6P is also found to be especially prone to bending and scratches by JerryRigEverything
