The latest leaks suggest that we are looking at one of the best Nexus smartphones we've seen since the start of the program in 2010.

According to the leaked slides on Imgur, the Huawei Nexus 6P could possibly give the Apple iPhone 6s Plus a run for its money as far as design, build quality and specs are concerned. The Nexus 6P is set to be "the first all-metal Nexus flagship smartphone" with a unibody design which is described as "slim and sleek for a light, compact feel and sophisticated look". It will come in four colors (aluminium, gold, graphite and frost) and four storage options (32/64/128GB).

Specs-wise, the Nexus 6P will sport a 5.7-inch Quad-HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor, 3GB RAM, dual front-facing speakers, USB Type-C port, a 3,450mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor. More importantly, Google's dream of making Nexus phones "insanely great cameras" is one step closer to becoming a reality.

The Nexus 6P will come with a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and pixel size of 1.55 μM. It also will be equipped with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with pixel size of 1.4 μM. The Nexus camera is stated to deliver "better images in low-light situations more than ever before" and "capture that special moment quickly, and in focus".

On paper, the Nexus 6P is on-par or even better than the Apple iPhone 6s Plus. In comparison, the iPhone 6s Plus is equipped with a 5.5-inch Full-HD display, an A9 dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, a 2,750mAh battery, a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.22µ pixels, and a front-facing 5-megapixel camera.

If you are already feeling excited by these specs, you do not need to wait any much longer as Google is expected to make an official announcement tomorrow
