If you're still holding out on an Android tablet purchase, then maybe the Huawei MediaPad might garner some interest in parting with your hard-earned cash.
The MediaPad will be running Android 3.2 Honeycomb, and will sport a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a 1280×800 IPS touchscreen, front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera and a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera that can capture video in HD. If this sounds appealing, then you will be happy to know that Malaysia will get it by mid-October, while we lucky Singaporeans can already pre-order the MediaPad for SG$598. If you happen to live in US, China, Hong Kong and Thailand then you will probably see the MediaPad by the end of the year.
