*Update: Quoting information from inside sources, Slash Gear claimed that the HTC Ville will be launched as the HTC One S. HTC is said to be following a new naming convention for its new devices by putting the last letter as a superscript. This is similar to the HTC OneX, which is formerly known as the HTC Endeavour.
The HTC Ville seems to have problems escaping from the prying eyes of the camera as four new images of the device were published by ePrice.
While the images revealed nothing new, they reinforced some of the specs that were reported earlier such as a thin design, a large 4.3-inch display and HTC Sense 4.0. It is alleged to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Series 4 dual-core processor and utilize Super AMOLED technology for its display.
This is the second time the HTC Ville appeared on camera. It was caught on video a week ago running on Android 4.0 and Sense 4.0. As a mid range smartphone, the HTC Ville is likely to go up against the rumored Samsung Galaxy S II variant, which is also said to be launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012. This year will be an important one for the Taiwanese company as it revises its market strategy and release "some worldwide flagship products" to regain lost ground.
