HTC unveils the One X9, its most affordable hero device yet
Two months after unveiling the iPhone-looking One A9, HTC yesterday introduced the One X9 in China.
From the looks of its specs, the One X9 is positioned as a mid-range smartphone. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a MediaTek X10 octa-core chipset, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space with microSD support up to 2TB, a 3,000mAh battery and dual nano-SIM card slots.
Other specs include front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers, a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and dual-tone flash, an UltraPixel front-facing camera, RAW image support, and a 7.99m thin design which weighs about 170g.
Available in the Chinese market for 2,399 yuan (~S$520), the One X9 seems to be HTC's latest attempt to compete with other Chinese phone makers in the price category.
