The HTC Sensation XL was announced earlier today, with its availability pegged at early November 2011. We've just received word from HTC that the Sensation XL has been given a price tag for Singapore, and it will be bundled with the urBeats headset.
The total price: S$908.
The key features of the Sensation XL includes a massive 4.7-inch display, making it the largest device in HTC's current portfolio. However, the smartphone, loaded with Beats Audio, comes with a few surprising hardware specifications, such as a single-core 1.5GHz processor and a lower screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels as compared to the refreshed HTC Sensation XE with a 4.3-inch 960 x 540 screen resolution and a dual-core 1.5GHz processor.
Though the Sensation XL is slightly pegged at S$40 more than the Sensation XE's S$868 price tag, we figure the amount you pay for the smartphone is justified by the additional urBeats headset. Nonetheless, consumers who are more stringent on the pure hardware specs, over a larger and comfortable screen with audio enhancements, might need more further convincing to purchase the Sensation XL.
