*Update on 08/03/2013: We've learnt from HTC Singapore that the launch of the One is delayed till April.

*Update on 07/03/2013 10.59 a.m: M1 has just informed us that they will not be selling the HTC One at IT Show 2013.

*Update on 07/03/2013 10.26 a.m: SingTel and StarHub have confirmed that they will not be selling the HTC One at the IT Show 2013. We've tried to reach out to M1, but our calls went unanswered. We update this section as soon as we have information.

*Update on 07/03/2013 9.15 a.m: M1 has started the ball rolling by promoting the HTC One (32GB) on its IT Show 2013 brochure. Customers who purchase the HTC One from the telco will get HTC One Happy Pack worth $108.

The highly anticipated HTC One will be making an earlier than expected appearance at this year's IT Show 2013. Based on an e-mailer sent by SingTel, the HTC One will be available with a two-year contract at IT Show 2013, which starts tomorrow and ends on Sunday, 10 March.

We understand from HTC that the official launch of the One in Singapore will be in mid-March through authorized mobile operators and resellers. Hence, we reckon that the telcos are carrying out "a soft launch" for the One. Do expect stocks to be in limited quantities. We also have unconfirmed sources that have mentioned that the phone would only be available during the weekend period of the show.

If you wish to try out the One, there are demo units available at SingTel Shops in Ang Mo Kio Hub, ComCenter, Changi City Point, Jurong Point, North Point, Plaza Singapura and Parkway Parade. Some of our forum users have laid their hands on the One from these outlets over the last weekend. You can check out their thoughts on the HTC One, and join in the discussion here.
