First announced at the IFA 2012, the HTC Desire X is an entry level Android smartphone. Its specs include:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1GHz processor
  • 768MB RAM
  • Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4
  • 4-inch display / 800 x 480 pixels
  • 4GB internal storage capacity (microSD support up to 32GB)
  • 1650mAh battery
  • 118.5 x 62.3 x 9.3mm
  • 114g

For its class, the Desire X sports quite impressive imaging capabilities such as a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera, 28mm F2.0 lens, BSI sensor, HTC ImageSense, a dedicated imaging chip and Smart Flash. The suite of features are almost similar to the One series, which were unveiled at MWC 2012.

The HTC Desire X also comes with integrated Beats Audio technology, which offers a superior listening experience through its professional-grade sound engineering. While it comes with 4GB onboard memory, you can increase the storage capacity via a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB, and the free 25GB Dropbox storage for two years.
