HTC building a pair of Nexus phones with codenames S1 and M1
Six years after making the first Nexus smartphone, HTC is said to be back this year with two models.
Well-known tipster @evleaks tweeted that the Taiwanese company is making a pair of Android N devices for Google. They are referred internally as M1 and S1, which Android Police speculates to be codenames Marlin and Sailfish.
Earlier this year, a reliable tipster on Weibo said that the two HTC Nexus phones will have 5.0-inch and 5.5-inch displays. Google was also rumored to have signed a three-year deal with HTC to build Nexus phones.
