HP Datapass Coming to Singapore

The HP Slate7 Voice Tab Ultra will be the first tablet in Singapore available with Datapass.

HP Datapass, HP's embedded mobile broadband service is coming to Singapore. The service gives customers with compatible devices access to 250MB/month of free 4G data on their device for two years, without the need for a dongle, SIM card or contract.

Datapass is already available in ten countries worldwide, and was previously restricted to usage within the registered county only. However, for the Singapore launch, customers will be able to roam within all Datapass compatible countries including Hong Kong, UK, Sweden, Denmark, France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Spain and U.S. More countries within Asia will be added in 2015.

If 250MB/month isn't enough, customers can also top up for more data, with various plans available.

Datapass will be rolling out on HP's Slate7  Voice Tab Ultra at the end of the year, with more tablets and notebooks to be added in 2015.
