How to Get the New YouTube Layout

How to Get the New YouTube Layout

If you ever felt that YouTube's page layout looked pretty messy, here's some good news: YouTube is getting a redesign with a deeper Google+ integration.

This redesign features a cleaner layout with a more neatly-arranged list of featured videos, your subscriptions, and recommended videos. Your user profile appears at the bottom left of the page with videos shared by your friends on Facebook and Google+.

And if the new YouTube has not appeared yet on your Internet browser, here's how to enable it (it can only be done on Firefox or Google Chrome).

Open your browser's development tools by pressing the following:

  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + K (Win) | Cmd + Shift + K (Mac)
  • Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + J (Win) | or Cmd + Alt + J (Mac)

After which you type in the code below:

document.cookie="VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=ST1Ti53r4fU";

Once you're done, close the development tools and reload the page. And don't worry this won't cause your computer to explode; we tried it and it works fine.
