Here's how much the Surface Pro 4 will cost when it hits stores on Nov 19

Microsoft today unveiled the retail pricing of the Surface Pro 4, the successor to the wildly popular Surface Pro 3 tablet hybrid. Microsoft’s latest 2-in-1 device was available at pre-order prices during the period spanning 7 to 18 October, but if you missed out on that, the Surface Pro 4 will finally hit major retail stores this Thursday, 19 November.

The Surface Pro 4 features several significant upgrades that boost performance and usability, like more powerful Intel Skylake processors, a larger and brighter 12.3-inch display, and also a much-improved Type Cover keyboard and Surface Pen.

You’ll have the option to configure the Surface Pro 4 with an Intel Core m3, Core i5, or Core i7 processor and up to 16GB of RAM. It is also available with up to a 1TB SSD, so power users need not worry about not having enough storage space.

For a closer look at the device, you can check out our hands-on article here. We particularly liked the chiclet key design on the new Type Cover keyboard, where the wider key spacing and farther key travel distance makes for a far more pleasurable typing experience.

In addition, the Surface Pro 4 will be compatible with a revamped docking station that resembles a power brick, complete with an Ethernet port, USB ports, and audio jack. Microsoft has clearly solved the problem of portability with the previous docking station, and this is one dock that you can take along on your travels.

The new docking station is no bigger than a large power brick.

All Surface Pro 3 and 4 accessories are also compatible with each other, so Surface Pro 3 owners looking to upgrade can actually save on the add-ons for the time being.

Starting 19 November, the Surface Pro 4 will be available locally at Challenger, Courts, Harvey Norman, and Newstead, and also online at the Microsoft Store. It will go on sale at the same time in other locations in the Asia Pacific including Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and Japan, with availability in India slated for January.

For the exact pricing on specific configurations and related accessories, please refer to the table below:
