You know what? September is coming, and that means Comex 2016 is happening soon! Taking place at Suntec Singapore, levels 3, 4, and 6, from September 8 to 11, this year’s Comex is once again going to be jam-packed with activities. Here’s a quick rundown:

1.) Tech Showcase

If you want to touch and try the latest tech products from brands like Samsung, Moto, HP, and Dell, remember to go to the Tech Showcase area at level 4.

2.) Gamex

Tired after a day’s of hunting for deals? Drop by at Gamex (level 6, hall 605) to try out some of the latest games in town. We’ve heard that there will be cosplayers there.

Gamers are also encouraged to drop by the Singapore eSports League as there are games and competitions like Dota 2, Overwatch, and Counter Strike Global Offensive being played.

3.) Trade-in

Do you’ve a gadget that you don’t want, or a faulty one that’s not worth repairing? Bring it down to Comex and trade it in for cash vouchers that you can spend at the show. You can trade-in stuff like TVs (LED or LCD more than 18.5 inches), laptops, tablets, smartphones, PCs, monitors (more than 18.5 inches), and gaming software and consoles. At Comex 2016, there’s also an opportunity to receive a free 1-year internet security subscription subscription from Kaspersky (while stocks last, of course), get S$200 off selected Lenovo laptop models (for first 100 trade-in customers), and exclusive Samsung deals.

Like past trade-in programs, you can fill up a form to get an online quote first before bring your gadget to Comex. More details can be found here.

4.) Services

One thing new at Comex this year is you can get free 6 months of Data Shield (a data protection and recovery service) when you purchase select laptops, notebooks, PCs, tablets, and smartphones from ASUS, Lenovo, Acer, Dell, HP, and MSI. More details on how to redeem it can be found here.

Also, if you need help upgrading your storage and RAM (at a small fee), or you wish to recycle your old and faulty items, there are booths at level 6 just for that. You can read about these services here.

5.) Booth babes contest

Of course, what’s Comex without booth babes. This year, 2 lucky winners stand a chance to win a total of S$1000 in cash! All you need to do is snap a selfie with your favorite Comex 2016 babe and share it on the designated Facebook post. If you haven't followed Comex on Facebook, now's the time to do so.

6.) Lucky dip

Last but not least, there’s a Instant Lucky Dip that you can take part in, with up to S$100,000 worth of vouchers and prizes are available to be won. To be eligible, you need to register and print out a redemption letter first before heading down to Comex. You can check this page for more details, including the list of prizes.
