According to PetaPixel, there's going to be a new photo sharing app in town called Reactions. The developer of this application is a hacker called George Hotz that goes by the handle "geohot", and best known for hacking early iPhones and the Playstation 3. As for the app itself, it doesn't have any fancy filters that you can apply to your photos. What it does have however, is the ability to utilize the front facing camera to capture your reactions while taking the main photo.

Users also won't need to register for a new social network because the app will be integrated with Facebook and Dropbox for easy sharing. However, the catch here is that photos taken with the app would be automatically shared in three seconds if an unlabeled cancel button isn't hit. This feature would potentially be extremely convenient or very embarrassing for users.

While the entire tone for the official Reactions website is a tongue-in-cheek jab at other photo-sharing apps in the market, the application itself could prove to be a hit. It will be interesting to see your friends drooling while taking food photos, or see them covered in sandflies while taking sunset photos. Reactions is currently going through the Apple iTunes approval process so there're no details as to when users can start downloading the app.
