Guess the features that Apple Watch owners use the most and the least
It's more than six months since the Apple Watch hit retail shelves and more than 7 million units were estimated to have shipped to date. The user base is large enough for the University of Stockholm and Wristly.com to conduct two surveys to find out the usage behaviors.
According to their findings, 38% of users checked the Apple Watch 2 to 3 times per hour with 8% checking more than 10 times in the same period. So what did users check the Apple Watches for? Well, 50% of the users checked the watch face for time with an average duration of 3.8 seconds. 1% of users use their smartwatches for the Maps function and this feature clocked the longest duration of 46.9 seconds.
Other notable usage cases include notification (17% with an average time of 9.2 seconds), workout time (6% with an average time of 5.6 seconds), and notification center (6% with an average time of 8.4 seconds). What's interesting is the fact that 1% of the users spent 33.6 seconds on the app launcher, which could potentially mean that users have difficulties finding their apps on the small screen of their Apple Watches.
