It’s bound to happen. Yes, I’m referring to Griffin’s Travel Power Bank for the Apple Watch. If for some reason, the Watch’s all-day battery life isn’t enough for you and a power outlet is nowhere in sight, then this accessory is for you.

Packing an 800mAh battery, Griffin says the US$70 Travel Power Bank (slated for release in Q2 2016) is able to fully recharge the Apple Watch four times over. It has a built-in magnetic charging disc so you leave the official Apple Watch charging cable at home. Recharging the power bank itself is done over micro-USB.

Because of the smallish battery, the power bank isn’t very big. You can even use the attached keyring to clip it to a set of keys, a hook, or carabiner.

Watch bands

Griffin is also making watch bands for the Apple Watch. And coming in Q3 this year are the US$60 Uptown Leather Band and US$40 Trainer Watch Band. The former is a stylish double-wrap leather band that complements all 38mm Apple Watch versions and comes with coordinating metal buckle detailing in gold, silver, or rose gold; it will be available in toffee/gold, black/silver, ecru/rose gold, and seafoam/silver. The latter is a silicone band designed for workouts and is compatible with all 42mm Apple Watch versions; it will be available in black, white, red, and blue color options.
