GoPro announces launch of Hero+ LCD Session

Shortly after the launch of the Hero4 Session, GoPro has announced the launch of the Hero+ LCD, their first entry-level camera with an integrated touch LCD that allows for easy shot framing, settings control, and access to a new in-camera video trimming feature.

The Hero+ LCD is built directly into its waterproof housing, which is rated down to 40m, so you can easily take it diving. It captures high-definition 1080/60p video and 8-megapixel still images, and also includes features like HiLight Tagging and in-camera video trimming, allowing you to do more without the use of a computer.

It's small but tough and now you get an LCD for basic video editing.

HiLight Tagging lets you mark key moments in your footage while recording and during playback so you can easily find them later, while the in-camera video trimming allows you to create short clips in-camera that you can send to your smartphone via the GoPro app for easy sharing on social media.

The Hero+ LCD also pairs with the Smart Remote or with the GoPro app via its built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing you to remotely control the camera when it is out of reach, allowing for even more shooting options.

The GoPro Hero+ LCD also allows for immediate recording upon power on with the QuikCapture setting, and has a long-lasting battery that allows for approximately two hours of recording time. And it supports microSD cards (at least Class 10 or UHS-I) up to 64GB for all your recording needs.

The GoPro Hero+ LCD is available now at all major authorized GoPro resellers like Outdoor Sports Travel for S$450.
