Google Reportedly Working on Kids-Friendly Version of YouTube

According to The Information, Google is reportedly working on a children-friendly version of YouTube. The company is working to make sure that the videos will be safe for viewing by children under the age of 10; in addition, parents will ultimately have the last say on access to the site's contents.

The Information also reported YouTube is in talks with video producers to create content that is exclusive to this site. It will also "filter out comments that contain explicit language, or other references to adult content." Google appears to have a grand, and commendable objective to create a video-streaming site, free from objectionable content and comments, which parents can feel free to let their children view. There are no further details with regards to its launch date or whether the site will be free from advertisements.
