Since its launch at Google I/O 2012, the top question in the minds of consumers is on the Nexus 7's availability outside the U.S and U.K. It now seems that the much anticipated Android 4.1 tablet will be sold in Singapore as the product is listed on ASUS Singapore website.

Unfortunately, there is no information on the website to indicate the date of availability or its price. Responding to a query posted on its Facebook Page, ASUS Singapore advises consumers to stay tune for an announcement.

The Nexus 7 has proven to be a hot seller in the U.S as it was sold out at several retailers such as GameStop and Staples on the first day of its availability. Stocks are expected to be replenished in August.

Android Authority - "“We blew through the first two allotments,” a GameStop spokesperson said.

Several HardwareZone forum members are among, if not the first in Singapore to lay their hands on the Google Nexus 7. Apparently, they ordered the device via Adorama and had it shipped over to Singapore. We've reached out to ASUS Singapore on its pricing and availability, and will update this section when we have the information.
