Google Chrome for iOS Tops Free Apps Chart

iOS users are quick to act - less than a day after both Chrome and Google Drive apps have been announced for the iOS platform at Google's annual I/O event, the former has already gotten far, with downloads placing it high on the top free apps charts. The most popular browser in the world promises a similar experience to its desktop variant - Users can launch incognito tabs, sync bookmarks/last opened tabs/passwords via their Google account and more.

With this many downloads within the span of less than a day, it does seem like many iOS users will ditch Safari and rely on Chrome to surf on their mobile devices - well, at least for now.
