Google Android 2.3 Slated for Earlier HTC Desire Series

Good news for those who own the HTC Desire, Desire Z and Desire HD. A HTC spokesperson has just mentioned to Slashgear that the earlier Desire series will not be neglected, with a Google Android 2.3 update imminent by Q2 2011.

Slashgear - HTC has confirmed its next batch of Android updates, with Android Honeycomb coming through the pipe for some of the most popular devices of the past few months. An HTC spokesperson told SlashGear that “We are excited to announce that the Desire HD, Desire Z, Desire and Incredible S will receive the Gingerbread update in Q2.”

While a slew of new HTC devices running on the Gingerbread platform have been announced at MWC, it is heartening to know that the company is still making an effort to keep its customers satisfied with these after sales firmware updates. Click here for the full story from Slashgear.
