Gigabyte unveils the XM300, the first gaming mouse from its Xtreme Gaming line

If you have a Gigabyte mouse to match your other Gigabyte hardware, the XM300 is the latest gaming mouse from the company.

Gigabyte's been in the hardware business for a while now, manufacturing everything from motherboards to GPUs. While the brand has many different series, if you're a gamer, you'll undoubtedly be familiar with its Xtreme Gaming series of GPUs, which are all created with the hardcore gamer in mind.

Well, the Xtreme Gaming line has just diversified from being a purely GPU line to having a peripheral line-up too, with their introduction of the XM300 gaming mouse.

The XM300 is the first gaming mouse in the Extreme Gaming line and while it's just the first in what will probably be a series, it's already an impressive piece of gaming hardware.

For starters, the right handed mouse has a 6400DPI sensor (Pixart 3988), with on the fly DPI adjustment. It features customizable lighting that can display 16.8 million colors, has a 20 million click Omron switch and Teflon feet so that it can glide smoothly on any surface.

On top of that, it supports all major grip types (Claw, Fingertip and Palm). Finally, it also comes with the Xtreme Macro Engine customization suite, which lets you customize the mouse's lighting, assign keys, manage your macros and other settings.

Sadly though, Gigabyte didn't reveal when the mouse will be available or its price.
