Gigabyte Launches Two Thin Mini-ITX Motherboards

Gigabyte has launched two mini-ITX motherboards that adhere to Intel's all-in-one (AIO) PC specification, allowing system builders to create their own AIO PCs and other slim and compact computers. The boards are GA-H77TN and GA-B75TN that feature the Intel H77 and Intel B75 chipset respectively. Both boards are very familiar in their specifications; however, the main difference between them is the lack of RAID support for the GA-B75TN.

The boards support second- and third-generation of Intel Core processors as they both sport LGA 1155 CPU sockets. They measure just 17cm by 17cm with a slender profile of just 2.5cm. They are targeted at system builders of AIO PCs and are also ideal for industrial and commercial applications like POS systems, casino gaming PCs and digital signage units.

One of the main reasons they conform to Intel's AIO PC specifications is the removal of the offending stack of audio jacks and put the remaining two audio jacks side-by-side. The boards also feature a DC-In power connector, eschewing the conventional ATX power connector. By supporting SO-DIMM DDR3 memory modules, the boards are also able to reduce their heights further.
