The iPhone’s default gold model could always be better. Gold plating company Goldgenie is taking pre-orders of the next iPhone due for launch, and theirs will come in a variety of luxurious finishes that makes the original skin pale in comparison.
Besides traditional 24K Gold, there’s also the option of Rose Gold, and Platinum plating. Buyers can opt to adorn it with 800 VS1 diamonds, if plating your phone in precious metals isn’t enough bling for your taste.
According to their site, you could choose to have your purchase personalized with laser engraving. You could also have the iPhone by itself, or with an Apple Watch that matches your phone. Pre-orders start today, and Goldgenie expects to raise its prices after the new iPhone is officially announced and on-sale. Each Goldgenie-customized iPhone 6S will also come in a cherry oak jewelry box (pictured above) as well as a lifetime guarantee on the phone and customization
Buyers of the 32GB iPhone 6s 24K Gold iPhone 6s Elite (that’s a mouthful) should expect to shell out £2,300 (S$5011), and the cost goes all the way up to £10,000 (S$21,785) for the diamond-studded Diamond RockStar versions. It’s a hefty price tag but it is nowhere as crazy as the Lux iPhone 6S from Brikk.
