German telcos reportedly preparing for launch of Apple iPhone 6S on 18th September

Apple is rumored to be launching three new iPhone models this year.

German telcos are said to be preparing for a launch of the Apple iPhone 6S on 18th September. Sources told German site Macerkopf at least two of the three German telcos are planning to launch the new iPhone(s) on that date.

The latest report comes more than a week after Buzzfeed's John Paczkowski tipped that Apple will be having a launch event in the week of 7th September with 9th September as the most likely date. Both reported dates are consistent with past iPhone launches; Apple launched the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus on 10th September last year with pre-orders kicking off on 12th September and retail availability a week after.

As Germany and Singapore are among the first wave of countries to launch the new iPhones, you have exactly one more month to start saving for the next iPhone(s)! The upcoming iPhones are believed to be powered by an A9 processor, 2GB RAM, and come with a new 12-megapixel rear camera and Force Touch technology.
